have rockstar betrayed us because theyve seen such a big modding community created by their gta games and all of a sudden tried to stop us in our tracks because of thier stupid mistake leaving the hot coffee mod on there still well anyway i want to try to see if i can make a real car mod for v1.x and if any of you find out how to mod v2 gta sa then contact me because i want everybody to be able to mod because thats what started the modding community wasnt it (obvious) but we need to to mop up that water that we slipped up on and get v2 users modding aswell and maybe rockstar might forgive us and make another patch as easy to mod the game with as v1 for the pleasure of all of us well good luck with this i hope this isnt the end of modding completely i think im just gonna go and cry for a bit

There are also several topics in the General PC Chat forum about Version 2 and how its unmoddable. The reason no-one is really concentrating on modding v2 or allowing it is because most people should and do have the game already in obvious v1 modable format. There's only a small minority with v2 so that's why I am sorry to say.
