namezod Posted November 16, 2005 Share Posted November 16, 2005 I got the second edition but I still have audio bugs like sound cutting out during rain/thunderstorm and dirty cars won't clean, ect. I tried putting the patch under "Second Edition" on the Rockstar website and the taketwo website, but they are for version 1. Is this retarded or what? Because R* was too busy trying to cover it's own a** after the HC problem Sound problem: Try setting the DirectX Sound Hardware Accelleration Level to Basic Car cleaning: You need to have the FX setting set at atleast Medium or better. Plus you do know you have to go to a paint shop to get it clean, not the car wash, right? Going to the car wash would have been cool and make more sense. dazzy32 Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 I just got the 2nd edition and I am having all the exact same problems that people with 1.0 had , apparently all RS did was put the mature label on the box and change the coding to read 2.0 so I can't use the F**** patch. They didn't update *(*&(*$%*( I wish I'd read all this before I bought it... (had to use the no-cd crack to even start the damn thing) RS can suck it, never get another dime from me. I can never hear any of the voices of the characters in the game and it's really pissing me off now.... what can I do?
