Maybe it's just me, but that list is pathetic. Out of 18 titles, only 6 of them are making their debut on the 360. The rest are already out on other platforms, mostly last-gen platforms at that. And out of those 6, PGR3, PDZ and maybe Kameo are the only ones that really stand out.

Anyway this makes me fell better for not getting a 360 on launch as only PGR3 has my interest in that list.

Yeah, for Xbox games. The launch version of 360 will be pre-loaded with the software to play all the popular games for the Xbox but later on to add more Microsoft will release software updates. I read that on Gamespot or IGN.

PDZ is really the only appealing one to me there, CoD2 and Q4 aren't far behind. But that's not much really, I was expecting more honestly. Very disappointing to see titles for the 360 release that are coming out for Xbox anyway. Doesn't make sense to me.

The only reason I may get a 360 is for Dead Rising. That game looks f*cking awesome.

 

And hell, crappy launch titles should mean less sales, which means the price goes down faster for when the good games start coming out.

 

Of course, that won't happen. But I can dream.

The only definates for me are Perfect Dark and King Kong, might grab Quake too. I was at PC World yesterday and you can imagine my amazement when they had a 360 you could play on. I only had five minutes but I gave King Kong a spin, I didn't know what I was doing so just glared at it's beauty. All the individual blades of grass swaying, rain drops bouncing on the rocks, oh and punching a T-Rex on the nose (as the human) then that was it, game over.

 

But yeah, you'd think they'd have more exclusive titles for launch. I'm also quite looking forward to Dead Rising.

I had a lot of fun with the King Kong demo, the part where you play as King Kong and beat the crap out of dinosaurs. I would even consider buying this piece of hardware if they had backwards compatibility with ALL of the previous xbox titles. Microsoft really f***ed up in this department.
