Spuds725 Posted November 20, 2005 Share Posted November 20, 2005 pdescobar Pmed me and I looked up my recordbook post-- it was in feet (141 ft in my stats) so my distance is glitched-- seeing that everyone in the recordbook post has distances in meters to 2 digits after the decimal point tells me everyone used the feet to meter conversion (multiply by .3048 I think???) and were probably playing the NTSC version which gives stats in feet. Does anyone know if any other distance stats got glitched.... OMG.... a glitch in a GTA game..... We (over @ GTP) are in the process of sorting this out, though from what ive read so far in this thread, it is indeed a glitch mesurement used for thos records. I suspect it happens everywhere, but confirmation is good. So far we know for sure it happens on v1 NTSC PS2 and xbox. i'm on the ps2. i'm pretty sure we purchaced our copy of san andreas when it first came out, within the first couple of months, anyway. Read the first page of this thread, I wrote: Okay, I did what you wrote, and my first and only shot was 5.0M, which is exactly 16.4FT, but under Achievemnets I got 55.56FT. 7.5M gave me 83.33FT, it should be 24.6FT 10.0M gave me 111.11FT, it should be 32.8FT So the game multiplies the Meters(M) by ~11.111 and gets the measurement in Feet(F) for your Achievements. or (M)~11.111 = F Edited November 25, 2005 by CrazYFinGers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
