johnson.
Im having a small problem with Firefox, It seems I try to watch a video online that requires Windows Media Player (WMP) it says the iI must first download WMP even though I already have it. So I think maybe it has to be updated so I redownload WMP and still nothing. Iv done downloaded it WMP maybe 16 times and still nothing has happend. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening to me.

Wolf68k
First go to C:\Programs\Mozilla Firefox\plugins Look for npdsplay.dll If the file is there, then right-click on this link http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/resources/wmp9.reg and select Save As. Save it to your desktop. Now double click on the file and click OK twice. Restart FF and try it. If it doesn't work try restarting the whole system and try again. If the file is not there..... Download this http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme...n64/plugin.aspx Ignore the fact that it says it's for Netscape. To be honest I have no idea what do after that and I can't even test it on my PC as it is in middle of defragging....I'm on my iBook. My hope is that'll either see or let you point to Firefox's plugins folder and install from there. If you have WinRAR installed it might be possible to right-click on the EXE and have the Extract option (as strange as that might sound) if so extract it and find the npdsplay.dll and put in the Firefox\plugins folder. Make sure FF is NOT running when doing so. Start up FF and see how it goes.
