_-playero-_
Since I formated my PC I haven't been able to ftp to my xbox. I don't know why... no idea. My Evox config is: Network: Type: Static IP: 192.168.0.3 Line Status: 100/full Duplex Ethernet MAC Address 00:0D:3A:a0:65:41 Setup Network: Yes Use Static IP: Yes IP: 192.168.0.3 Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 168.254.217.95 Dns: 0.0.0.0 Dns: 0.0.0.0 Setup Delay: 0 Skip Setup if No Link: No FTP: Enable Yes Password: xbox thats all you need I think. I read somewhere that the Default Gateway has to be exactly as the IP address from the computer, my guess, from the ethernet adapter connected to the xbox. MEGAEDIT: Don't worry, it was the default gateway thing, it works now. LOCK REQUESTED, if possible, delete the topic. JayC
Even though you fixed it you should get rid of evo. Its so outdated now. Get Avalaunch instead. Much better.

Some many months away Evox was like the coolest sh*t around.

Opius
Depends on what you use it for. I use XBMC as my dash since I really only use my Xbox as a media player. You can still access all your games and apps within a single menu, it's got FTP and HTTP servers built in, etc. But yeah, the only reason I ever have to boot EvoX is for stuff like flashing my BIOS or formatting drives. Dalpura
You didn't think, because you formatted your PC, that the problem would be PC side? Rather than Xbox side? And Avalaunch isn't anything special, but maybe that's because I'm an XBMC fanboy. XBMC is constantly improving anyway, new builds released damn near daily. There's heaps you can do with it too. Nothing better than steaming media from your PC, checking weather, watching Winamp streams all on your Xbox. Not to mention it plays more file types than my PC.
