bmx challenge! help pls!

I can get all the rings but I can't get on top of the half pipe near the entrance to the park... how the hell do I get up there?

I just placed CJ in the middle of the pipe (facing the corona), reversed and then tapped like mad (i'm on PS2).

P.S. I had full bike skill and full stamina, i don't know if that helped

Full cycle skills (bike skills are for motocycles) will help, higher bunny hop

Full stamina can help but it don't think needs to be full but high up will help, but hey if you can get it full easily enough then do so.

 

Also just practice, practice, practice

If you have full bike skill, you should be good. What I did was start from the other side of the half pipe, then when I got to the middle just bunny hop up there.

If you still can't get it go to Ocean Basin docks and get a Ramp Truck ... position it in front of where the hoop is but be careful not to be too far to the right as you might cover another hoop that's there.

 

Now just go up to the grassy knoll and pedal fast you'll get the hoop no problem

I don't know if this trick works for PC/Xbox; but on PS2 I parked under it just to the side and did a stationary bunnyhop as I tapped shoot, making CJ do the glitched really high bunny hop.
