Sly_Madman Posted November 13, 2005 Share Posted November 13, 2005 I was watching tv earlier and saw a commercial for Blitz: The Leauge, and it looked like a pretty good game, until they started flashing the kind of ratings they got. For instance, Stuff Magazine, the magazine which many call a sh*tty excuse for half naked porn, gave it a 4 out of 5. Because, you know, the staff at Stuff Magazine rated it on the most important elements of gameplay, how realistic the cheerleaders looked. And if that's not enough, they also listed: 3 1/2 out of 4 bunnies- Playboy Magazine Gee, it's nice to know that while I'm flipping through the pages of Playboy I can read video game rating, the whole reason every man buys Playboy. What this says to me is "all the real video game magazines game us sh*tty ratings, but these guys didn't!" It really deters me from buying Blitz, or any game that does that. Yeah, I guess it did have a few funny things in there, but most pages were just sorry excuses for half naked porn. If I want porn, I'll buy porn.
