guardianasher
Okay, system specs first. CPU: AMD AthlonXP 3000+ (2.16 GHz) Motherboard: ASUS A7V8Z-LA RAM: 512MB DDR333 PC2700 Sound: Integrated VIA VT8237, with RealTek Codecs Video: Mad Dog Multimedia "Dominator" GeForce FX 5600+ with 128 Integrated DDR RAM Operating System: Windows XP Profession Edition, Service Pack 2, with DirectX 9.0c My partition table crashed due to viruses, so I had to reformat and reinstall Windows. I completed, did all the updates, updated all of the drivers, and such. Before the crash, I had been running the ForceWare 77 series drivers. Everything in San Andreas worked perfectly. 800x600x32 Res, Visual FX at High, AA at 2, Mip Mapping, half draw distance. Well, after I reinstalled, I looked at nVidia's site, and saw the new 81.85 drivers released. Downloaded and installed them, then went to play SA. I reconfigured my graphics settings to the exact way I had them before, but when I went to turn on Anti Aliasing on, the screen went nuts. All of the colors went wacky, the text, everything. I could still read it, so I figured it was just a menu thing, and went to play the game. Same thing with the entire screen in world. So I restarted the game. Same thing. Restarted the computer. Same thing. Downgraded drivers, and it was all fixed! Can anyone help me? I really want to keep the new drivers, because they fix a couple of bugs with other games, but I am willing to make the sacrifice of staying downgraded if need be. GTA3Freak-2001
You should delete your gtasa.set file, I had this problem a while back and this fixed it. Its located in your GTASA User Files Folder in My Documents.
