Phear
I have a good computer, Fx-55, Dual 6800 ultras, so I can play games with the highest settings. I seem to be having a problem though, where if i turn on Anti-Aliasing, SA wont start, i just get a "reading disk" mouse pointer, then the oultline of a "window" that says GTA:SA at the top, and my computer locks up, completely. Has anybody run into this? I couldnt find anything. Sure i could run with out AA, but what did i spend all that money for?? I can delete my .set file and it will start, but i hate having to redo my settings everytime i try to use AA.
guardianasher
Considering the specs of your system, you can more than likely run the game at a high enough resolution so you won't need Anti-Aliasing in the first place. It's only really usefull for lower resolutions, so you really don't need to worry about it. But I don't know what could be causing the problem. Just putting in my two cents. Phear
Even at 1600X1200 you would still get the jaggy edges, and AA would still help the picture look a little better, but i can only run at 1280X1024, cause my monitor sucks. But i do have a feeling that it may have todo with how SLi renders the AA, if i remember right, it works ok with just one card.
