iM1SNEAKYSNAKESOKALI
I can't get time vault to work. I'll try to explination as complete as possible Im running a Compaq praserio, Athlon 1 gig processor, 384 meg sdram, a genaric sound card, An ATI 9200 Xstasy Graphics card, Windows XP Direct X 9.0c I have been cutting SCM file from the data folder, then replacing it with the time vault SCM. But when I try to load the game it gets all the way to select game screen and lets me select the game in which I want to pass a mission. It goes to the loading screen, the little pink line goes all the way to the right, only about a half inch to go and stops. When I ctrl esc back to desktop the computer generates an error message to send to Microsoft and includes a message thats says "C:DOCUME~1\default\LOCALS~1\Temp\(a number)_appcompat.txt
Demarest
Your game was modded already then. How many threads do we need I wonder?

I had the same problem at first. You will have to start a new game.Only then you can use that tool.Your current save game may probably have got corrupted. Demarest
You will have to start a new game. This is only true if you are currently running any non-compatible SCM mods. Time Vault (along with the entire Code Tools line) is designed to work with existing save games. It wouldn't the slightest bit amazing if that weren't the case. That said, it can easily be adapted to work with existing modded SCMs. Please do not say such inhibiting things about my work unless you're willing to map out the details. I am extremly sorry about that.I had no intention of blaming your work. It was just as an information.Of course its my mistake. It'll not be repeated again. I don't think Dem was trying to bite your balls off - he just likes everyone to be informed about his work. And the save game compatiilty was the major platform for all of Dem's code tool releases. Like he said, it wouldn't be all that amazing if the saves weren't compatible. But don't worry, a little misunderstanding, but anyone could make a similar mistake. And everyone does, at some stage in the forum life (usually at the start, just like you). Cheer up, forget about it, and keep on posting, because from the little of you I've seen so far, you've got the makings of a top member.
Demarest
His post could've been sincere. It's unfortunate that the internet usually showcases such hostility that we forget that people are capable of genuine oversight, genuine revalation, and genuine remorse. No harm done regardless.
