Stuck at "A home in the hills"

Big Poppa always seems to escape. Do I get out of the car and fire and damage his car? I tried that and he gets away too soon and I don't have sufficient time to get back in the car and follow him.

 

I tried banging into his car but it is my car that ends up being more damaged and I don't have time to change the car cause he'll get away by then.

 

It was easier if it was a bike. This car has very bad handling..

 

Maybe there is some trick to pass this?

His car is much stronger and handles better than yours. So trying to bump into him won't work. The best way you can kill him is to do a drive-by on his car.

 

Firstly, make sure you have enough ammo. Secondly, drive out of the driveway carefully. Follow Big Poppa until you reach the highway or a straight road. Then just drive alongside him and fire. His car would catch fire very quickly.

 

Also, if you have done the taxi mission, you could jack a taxi when you reach the highway and use the nitro to catch up.

He crashed the first time I did this mission, another time I jacked a taxi and caught up.

When you do a driveby, try to get on the side with his gas tank.

Ah I'm gonna try that.. I forgot about drive by's i rarely do that.... Normally i keep banging on the car lol.. and then change cars and continue to do so.. Or get a bike and fire as bikes are really easy and fast and perfect for sharp turns.. One thing that annoys me at times ...is having to control the camera as well while driving.. Maybe there is some kind of mod available to have the camera view similar to how it is on vice city?
