edisoncarter
I finally got my PSP2TV from lik-sang. I've been holding off on playing LCS much until I got it and I'm glad I did. I find it more enjoyable and relaxing to play this way, and feels more real and immersive than on the tiny PSP screen, and I'm more in my element and in control with the dualshock controller. The graphics are about half the resolution, kinda like a PSX, but it doesn't bother me. Feels just like old times. Installation took about 1.5 hours. You have to take the whole PSP apart and put it back together so it's a really advanced install. If you're thinking of getting one, definitely watch their installation video on teamxtender.com first to decide if it looks like something you can do. I needed both the manual and the video for installation instructions. There are things in the video that are glossed over in the manual or just plain hard to figure out without seeing it done. Installation notes: - Be freakin careful not to touch the screen! You don't want fingerprints on the inside, or lint or dust. - When you remove the metal frame, you gotta pop the UMD door open, since it's latched to that. I just finished the paramedic missions on the first go! I'm sure I couldn't have done that with the PSP controls. Hmm... I don't think I was able to do it on GTA3, and it was a close call in Vice City even with half the people spawning on the beach. I wonder if they're giving more time now. Pyrrhus
I watched the installation video and decided that there is no way in hell that I'd be able to do that without completely messing up my PSP, that is if I had one. Seeing as I don't yet own a PSP I'll have to see if they are being sold with PSP2TV pre-installed.
*MURDOC*
I might pick one of these up when my warrantee runs out. Ill probably get a second psp to keep portable, then leave the tv one hooked up at home.
GTA3Freak-2001
Bah I don't see the point, the game is designed for the PSP screen so I honestly wouldn't want to play it on my TV. I Like the ability to also use a PS2 controller but pulling apart my PSP is the las thing I want to do. Also you'd then have to redo the installation to return your PSP to its natural portable self or does it still work with the thing attached? Still with the device on it you wouldn't want to carry around the now larger PSP.

edisoncarter
You can unplug it from the docking station for portability. It adds a little extra at the bottom where the docking connector is. You can change the faceplate while you're at it to silver or transparent blue if you want. edison how was it ........ is it worth taking the risk of braking your machine? I don't know, there wasn't really much chance of me breaking it. Man, the Avenging Angels missions are a rip off. They should have made those keep you from losing your weapons when busted. GTA3Freak-2001
Hmm makes it a bit better that you can remove the bulky part but still its not something I am into doing to my PSP anytime soon.

Adriaan
Yes there are quite a few that uses the "mirror" approach. Mostly it is just a device with a small camera inside. Others works like a scanner. I believe PSP2TV is the best quality you will get. Seeing as I know the guys at TeamXtender they are busy with another device (quality is amazing), but don't tell anyone I told you . If you want a more "reliable review" then check out IGN's > http://gear.ign.com/articles/666/666034p1.html . They have also posted a video of LCS inside there on the 5th page. Anoter one of LCS and Spiderman 2 being played on the PSP2TV can be downloaded here > http://teamxtender.com/ok2.rm (requires real player). I also have my own competition running if you want one yourself > http://gtaportable.com/index.php?subaction...rt_from=&ucat=& Hope these helps you. DarthSlurpee
I'd love to see a picture of this contraption. If I ever had a PSP, there's no way in hell I'd attempt this. I'd break it.
Kuiosikle
I did everything in the installation fine, expect for reinstalling the analog stick to the new face plate. Now most of the screws are stripped so I can't take the face plate back off and on again to fix it. Ah well, it semi-works and it was my spare psp anyways. @edison: had to use the video as a second refference aswell. @Darth: look a few posts up.
