Saggy
Well, anyway, I want to buy SA, but I'm pretty sure it uses a DVD disc format. Anyway, my DVD rom burned out a while back, and I don't feel like buying a new one, and I don't feel like spending money on both. Anyway, I'm aware that there's some programs out there that can simulate a DVD drive. I have a laptop with a DVD rom drive, but it doesn't have the specs needed to run the game. So, what would I need to be able to use my laptop to install the game to my computer, and then use a program to simulate the DVD being in a drive to run the game? Wolf68k
Well first off you do know that for about $10-20US you can get a DVD-Rom drive easily? Newegg.com, maybe even BestBuy, CircuitCity, Wal-Mart Geeks.com has a LG 16x DVD-Rom for $17 BTC 16x DVD-Rom for $18US with free shipping Has for using the laptop DVD drive. Keep in mind becauseof the rules of the board I cannot give you exact details, for that you'll have to use Google but I believe it would be ok for me to give you the basic idea. On the laptop put the GTASA disc in and use a program to create a ISO of the disc. You would then transfer that ISO to your desktop and use another tool to mount the ISO which you can then install the game. However, because of the copy protection of the game you will not be able to play it off of the mounted ISO, you would have to get a no-cd crack. Again I cannot tell you where to get any of the tools to use to do this or even what their names are, well atleast I think I can't tell you the names, but Google is your friend. Your best bet to just get a new DVD drive.

The one I've got my eye on is a urner as well for about $30 from Lite-on, and I'm not going to pay $80 just to play SA. That's how I figured it'd work. Anyway, I realized that I have Alochol 120%, so i think that should be able to work.
