-_MU_-
Hi, I am looking for a mod that will let me skip missions, cos burning desire has a bug in my (modded) game, where after i get denise out the burning house, I do not get the instruction to drive her home, and so cannot complete the mission. Any mission skipper mods out there? or a way to edit the save file so it thinks the mission is complete? EDIT: Ok, I just downloaded Sannybuilder and fired it up. I can see the mission 'burning desire represented as: $CRASH_MISSIONS_PASSED == 0; integer values else_jump @CRASH_180 $ONMISSION = 1; integer values 00BA: text_styled 'CRASH_1' 1000 ms 2 ; Burning Desiregosub @PSAVE1_1836 start_mission 22 Can I edit this to show the mission passed? Does Anyone know the correct value to insert? Cheers MU Edited November 11, 2005 by -_MU_-
random_download
Get one of Demarest's code tools from here In that code the bit at the end that says "start_mission 22" is what executes the mission code. Near the top all the missions are defined, find number 22 then goto that label, and you will see the mission code which you can then edit.
-_MU_-
Hi, thanks for your help. I went to Demarest's site, but could not figure out which tool I need? Darkpaktor? i read the Readme but do not understand how I need to use that to make this edit. I just read through the mission script in the SCM, but could not clearly see which line(s?) I need to edit in order to make the mission status become 'complete'. Any further help would be GREATLY appreciated! Cheers MU EDIT: I now think these are the lines I need to edit - from the very bottom of the mission script: Object.RemoveFromMissionCleanupList($2665)01BD: $184 = current_time_in_ms $ONMISSION = 0; integer values mission_cleanup return Specifically the: $ONMISSION = 0; integer values Can anyone tell me if I am right please? random_download
Ah, what you would want is Time Vault from here, but it doesn't seem that there is one for SA yet. Easiest way would be to find where the mission ends, and it should create a new thread there (as sniffer for the next mission). Basically you would then just delete most of the mission, and put: create_thread ££whereeveritisjump ££mission cleanup I don't have time to find what you need to delete atm thoguh

random_download
Untested but hopefully it will work link (get mission22.txt). Then search for ";-------------Mission 22" and then replace from there to ";-------------Mission 23" with the code in that text file
Demarest
Yes, it is Time Vault that is the mission passing Code Tool. And yes, it is true that I have not made one for SA.
