Dunpeal
50 Cent Movie Pulled After Pa. Shooting 11/10/2005 9:18 PM, AP The new 50 Cent movie "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" has been pulled from a theater where a man was fatally shot even though officials said Thursday they do not know whether the film was a factor in the slaying. Loews Corp. decided to stop showing the rapper's bullet-ridden bio while the investigation is going on, said John McCauley, the company's vice president of marketing. "We're unclear whether there is a direct connection," McCauley said. He said the company is doing all it can to make sure patrons are safe at the 22-screen multiplex in a popular entertainment-and-shopping complex just east of Pittsburgh. Shelton Flowers, 30, had just watched the rapper's movie Wednesday when he got into a confrontation with three men in the bathroom. A fight ensued and spilled out into the concessions area, where Flowers was shot, police said. Authorities were looking for witnesses, and no suspects were immediately arrested. Source Well i cant say im surprised. Thoughts?
darthYENIK
I'm sure that's not the only case of it happening.
Loman
Unless the shooter pulled the gun out of the movie screen, there was no connection. It's not as if the guy said "Hmm, I think I'll go watch the new 50 Cent movie, then shoot someone in the theater" It's all just a random series of events that led to "Flowers" somehow pissing someone off and being shot. Moral of the story: Stay out of movie theater bathrooms

Sly_Madman
Someone's shot at the screening of a 50 Cent movie? And someone smoked pot at Woodstock. It was bound to happen, it's not like someone was shot at a screening for Chicken Little.

E.A.B.
I blame GTA. I blame the schools . Haha, no. It was coincidence. Pure coincidence. Woodstock? Well, yeah, that was bound to happen. They were hippies, a gathering of hippies. Hippies smoke pot. The 50 Cent movie, it isn't like its a gathering of thugs. Oh, and I heard that a chicken was cut and killed at that chicken Little thing. Pure coincidence. Same way that at the premier of Gilli, a horrible couple was found f*cking while listening to a horrible song. Yeah, not funny, I can't be bothered, I'm sleepy. Edited November 14, 2005 by E.A.B.
