gtarules11
for the courier one, the los santos one is by roboi's food mart near the police station in commerce. You just get on the bmx outside it the san fierro one is by the hippy shopper(dunno where, i just found it roamin around). You use the freeway bike outside once you complete these $2000 will spawn outside the shop every day ps. i know there's a las venturas one but i havent got that far
i...need...blood
ps. i know there's a las venturas one but i havent got that far It's a burger shot, you use a faggio to deliver the packages, this also generates $2000 Taxi: Completing 50 fares does not give jump hidraulics (that's Vice City), only the Nitro. Valet: hotel generates $2000 Burglar: It's there so you just get an extra buck, it does not count towards 100%, you are just given the money for what you stole. Lowrider & Dancing: Again, it's for fun, to people who like these kind of games, doesn't count towards 100%. Hunter Quarry: When: after "Explosive Situation" (Four Dragons Casino) Levels: 7 separate Reward: quarry generates $2000 NRG-500 challenge: Where: NRG-500 parked near import/export crane- San Fierro (Easter Basin) Reward: Respect + BMX challenge: Where: Park next to hospital -Los Santos (Glen Park) Reward: Respect + Freight train: Vehicle needed: Freight train (there are 2 kinds, but they're the same) When: After unlocking Las Venturas Levels: 2 Reward: Free train rides Note: exceding 50 miles/hour will cause the train to derail Gyms: Where: one in each city Objective: learn fighting moves Rewars: Respect + You can kick everyone's @$$ Ammu-Nation Challenge: When: 2 challenges available from start : pistol and micro SMG, 2 unlocked later: Shotgun and AK47 Note: it's best to do it near the end of the game, as you start all over if you quit. P.S. there are many, many, many other side stuff, and i'm only writing this cause i have insomnia (it's 4:00 a.m. right now) and because i am bored. P.S.2 (not play station 2) Many people alredy know about the side stuff and there have probably been many topics about side missions. Use the Search feature next time. Also, you can find many useful information in the web, gtasanandreas.net is a good source and you can find it in the top of <-------- that menu. Does it go anything towards 100% or is it just for cash? When does it stop being available? Hit the yay courier has two missions, one against the Sanchez, and one agaisnt the Patriot. Neither of these counts for 100%, They are not needed. These missions stop after the SF mission "Yay ka boom boom."
Dominioned
does anyone know which are the best places to do the ambulance and firefighter missions? Also, Im just starting San fierro, which side missions can i get out of the way? (I've done taxi, pimping and 6 trucks) Does having low cycling skill (like 10%) make it hard to complete the bmx? and even lower % for bike make it diff for courier? Offtopic: is it possible to get all the oysters before I unlock Las verturas?
Zach
does anyone know which are the best places to do the ambulance and firefighter missions? Ambulance: Definitely Angel Pine (town in SW corner of map) Firefighter: Since being fireproof comes in handy early in the game, I've always just done it in Los Santos. I've never found it difficult. <shrug> Also, Im just starting San fierro, which side missions can i get out of the way? (I've done taxi, pimping and 6 trucks) Well, one side mission will open up in SF as part of the story, and when it does, I guess you should do it then. Also, you should go ahead and do above mentioned Ambulance and Firefighter missions. You should wait to do Vigilante until later unless you REALLY, REALLY need the armor. It will be a lot easier (child's play, in fact) later soon after getting to LV. Does having low cycling skill (like 10%) make it hard to complete the bmx? and even lower % for bike make it diff for courier? Doesn't the BMX challenge require a minimum skill anyway? I'm pretty sure it does. Regardless, you should get your skill up to max (just ride it around the country side for a while) since once you max it out, you pretty much don't need to worry about falling off it any more. Offtopic: is it possible to get all the oysters before I unlock Las verturas? Not without cheating.
pdescobar
does anyone know which are the best places to do the ambulance and firefighter missions? Ambulance: Definitely Angel Pine (town in SW corner of map) Firefighter: Since being fireproof comes in handy early in the game, I've always just done it in Los Santos. I've never found it difficult. <shrug> While Paramedic should be very easy in Angel Pine (which is essentially inaccessible until after Green Sabre), I also find it easy in Montgomery which is accessible at the start of the game. I've done it in Jefferson, LS too, but Montgomery's easier. So in Dominioned's case (already in SF), Angel Pine is probably best; however, in general, I suggest you do it in Montgomery at the start of the game. I would also do Firefighter in LS; it's much easier than the Vice City version which caused me endless headaches. Also, Im just starting San fierro, which side missions can i get out of the way? (I've done taxi, pimping and 6 trucks) Well, one side mission will open up in SF as part of the story, and when it does, I guess you should do it then. It will be a lot easier (child's play, in fact) later soon after getting to LV. If you're just going for one-time completion, it does make sense to leave vigilante until you can use the Hunter or Rhino. However, if you want to do it earlier, I suggest having hitman status on the SMG, at least 2500 rounds of ammo for the SMG, and an HPV with decent motorbike skill. Yes, BMX has some minimum skill requirement in the 20-30% range; due to bunny hop ability, I agree that 100% bike skill is best for BMX, but you can do the LS Courier immediately as the time allotments are generous and you don't have to do any jumping. The same applies to the SF/LV Courier missions -- you don't need much motorcycle skill at all, just look at the map to plan an efficient route and take your time. Note that once you have max cycling skill, you should get the Chilliad Challenge races out of the way too. Offtopic: is it possible to get all the oysters before I unlock Las verturas? Not without cheating. Not strictly true. You can get all the oysters before doing any storyline missions, although about a dozen of them will incur a 4-star wanted level that you will have to evade; eight of these are in Las Venturas. Unless you're a masochist or very experienced, you should leave them until after LV is open.

In the mission "Reuniting the Families", just before "the Green Sabre", after you meet Sweet and get to the roof, don't get near him; instead jump from the building and San Andreas will become be a ghost town: no peds, no driving cars, no cops (yay!). This way you can get into Sf and LV with no wanted level and collect everything (except for some horseshoes that require a jetpack) I don't know if this wors on X-Box or PC, but i've done it on my precious PS2. EDIT: I've also heard this glitch happens in the mission "Are you going to San Fierro?", but i nkow nothing about it Edited November 12, 2005 by i...need...blood

You are right to point it out for general information, though. Silly me, now that I've taken to doing everything before Big Smoke, I sometimes forget about that exploit. As for the horseshoes, none of them "require" a jetpack. All can be reached by either using the copter parked near the boat school (I've used it during Reuniting the Families) or by skydiving. And yes, the exploit works on all versions/platforms of the game.

Neurotic
Regarding the Hippy Shopper courier missions; where is/what is the vehicle associated with that? I've looked all around the shop multiple times, but never seen a vehicle that triggers the mission. Am I bugged somehow? I've done "End of the Line" plus the Burger Shot and Robios' missions if that's any help.

I've done "End of the Line" plus the Burger Shot and Robios' missions if that's any help. You're probably at the wrong Hippy Shopper; I think that store has more than one location. You can click on the SAM image in my quote below and zoom in for a more close-in map. The quote comes from my recent post on this in the 100% checklist topic pinned at the top of the forum; I edited it down to just SF. Here are the SAM locations of the trigger vehicles if Mxy's directions aren't precise enough. Courier Missions[snip] where can i find them? Hippy Shopper is in Queens SF, near the modern style church, and the gaydar station. (look for the parked Freeway)
Dominioned
Just one more question for now I heard that it says if you burglar 10000 you get a bonus, something like that, and i need blood says that it does not count towards completion. But Im just wondering whether the 10000 must be achieved for the bonus cash in one night or accumulated?

The $10,000 goal to complete burglary is cumulative; you do not need to get it all in one night's work.
Dominioned
thanx... Completing paramedic gives you 150% health. Running/cycling around also seems to do that. Does the paramedic one overrides the running around reward? Or do they stack?

Does the paramedic one overrides the running around reward? Or do they stack? They don't stack; they're basicly the same reward. However, the paramedic reward gets you up to the maximum health bar size immediately rather than the little bit at a time that exercising does. Mxyzptlk
what do you do on the hippy shopper asset? Does anyone know of an easier way to do the nrg challenge For Hippy shopper you get on the Freeway, just like the BMX or Faggio courier missions. Throw packages through the coronas, I think it's 3 levels. For NRG-500 challenge, try to hit the first ring after the timer disappears but before "mission failed" appears, and you'll have infinite time. Or, get full bike skill and do it legit; there are several guide topics and videos around.
