I actually, disagree with you here, since I looked through books and the web at ref pics and blueprints, it seems 99% accurate, save the gears, but I know why they can't operate like there real life counter parts. Ducati996 Posted November 11, 2005 Share Posted November 11, 2005 i have tested the plane now, and it's really nice. Especially the cockpit is brilliant. i have a few things to critisize though. First the wheels sink a bit into the ground and should have no specular. Then the whole landing gear mechanism should be overworked... i know you cannot do it like in real life, but I am pretty sure it's possible to make it a bit better. the wheels should sink into the wing somehow... And the window really needs to be fixed. that white window is not nice at all. And the logos on the side of the plane are much too bright and big I think. You should make it smaller or release a plain version without any of those big stars. that's about it. I like the plane apart from that. And if you modeled it yourself then you have done a good job. T-808 Posted November 12, 2005 Share Posted November 12, 2005 i think it's genious i would be doign one myself if not for the fact i'm so bogged down with the road warrior project. i had at one time planned on a b-17 mod as well as a few more ww II fighters but for now it's shelved till i get road warrior and the ultimate weapons mod done. i would hope that i coudl reach the level you ave with the planes and maybe double it but i love the flux of ww 2 planes from sea norris german fighter to the the two corsairs all is very nice keep up the good work.
