SIP YEK NOD Posted November 24, 2005 Share Posted November 24, 2005 Hey sip you unlock the Ford GT yet? yeah, but its nothing special. the body kits are vomit-worthy, and every car in the game performs about the same once upgraded. besides the fact that it spins the tires 10x longer than a 4wd lambo. its pretty sad, doing a chase with a viper and getting slowed down. it has too much power to get traction under 30mph, yet somehow doesn't have the power to take off in 2nd gear. if you get slowed down, you are f*cked pretty much. So, can some who has the game help me with that, because I really want to get this game especially since it´s so cheap. $10 really beats $50 back in the states. The game was cheaper, and would of ran easily on our PC, and my stepdad still wouldnt let me get it for PC, thats how tight he is with this comp. Apparently I got some extra cash because I had NFSU2 installed? I got prompted with a message telling me this: "Thank you for playing Need For Speed Underground 2. You have been rewarded some extra cash.", or something along those lines. Started out with 40 grand. Not sure how much of this was the extra cash. ~az Yup, the game rewards you for having Underground installed or having a saved game on your Xbox (and likely PS2 Memory card or what have you) It rewards you $10,000... Not bad if you want to do some minor things with one of your first cars... I'd advise you to stay with that car until you race against the Gallardo. As soon as you got it, park the Cayman and finish the game off with the Gallardo. Buy other cars for pursuits or use the Porsche for that one if you haven't got the cash. DJDeez Posted November 26, 2005 Share Posted November 26, 2005 I just got Kaze's Merc, but just stashed it away like Jade's Mustang. I've been waiting for the DB9, so I bought it. Am using it for the long straight tracks now. I'm still using the Impreza for the shorter tight tracks. Pretty amazing though, during a speedtrap race, I got beaten by a Golf GTI once. I was driving the DB9 doing over 310kph and he still managed to beat me. The rim brand is on the windshield and the car part brands are on the doors/quarter panels. Managed to limp into a sidestreet as I only hit one side of the car on it and sat there for two whole minuites while the police sat at the otherside of the wall! Also, if you want to end a persuit and end up near the bus station (the glass building you can smash though), just sit on the ramps (where you can jump over the busses) and they never follw you up. Although sometimes they randomly come flying through, up and over the ramp and off the other side, which is amusing. Is it me or is it just f*cking impossible to end a chase?! Im upto blacklist 4 or something, I have great fun owning everything etc but they just keep coming and coming, no matter how much I bunch them up and take them all out, as soon as I get a hing of cooldown I run into more. If I get a sustained cooldown im nowhere near a f*cking hiding place. This sh*t is hard. Esp with those annoying as f*ck SUVs. I beat Ming though and got his monster. Then I made it look like a monster a bit more. The pursuits are getting harder, all you need is a little bit of luck.
