It was a pain in the ass for me the first time, but when I completed career mode the second time I had no problem beating the races whatsoever. I was only driving the cars I won by getting the pinkslips. I guess those are a tad faster than the ones you buy and upgrade yourself. Upgrade limitations and such.

was a f*cking bitch! I had a really bad time with it.

 

Since when is a M3 better than a gallardo, or a mclaren? The bad thing about that car is that it isn't tuneable/upgradeable...

why do american cars have upgradable superchargers and european/ japanese cars have upgradable turbo? And why does a supercharger give a greater boost than turbo ?

It's not just american cars, its any cars that would benifit more from a supercharger over a turbo so a Mustang or GTO being V8's means that you'd be better off with a supercharger, a Golf being a 4 cylinder wouldn't take a supercharger but would take a turbo.

It really doesn't matter on the amount the car is modified, it mostly depends on the driver's driving skill and the way the car is tuned (to suit the specific tracks, weather, etc) imo.

 

I mean you can beat a tuned or stock Carrera GT with a tuned or stock GTI if the opponent driving skill is low. So yeah, that's how I see it.

I've seemed to manage to get them all except this one, even if the chase goes on forever and I drive like a lunatic. Just curious, heh.

I've seemed to manage to get them all except this one, even if the chase goes on forever and I drive like a lunatic. Just curious, heh.

I usually get it paired along with excessive speeding. Just make sure that if you can't seem to get it in a chase, try speeding past a roadblock without crashing into any of the patrol cars.

I have been playing it again today and I won the pink slip for the Lamborghini Gallardo. I was dead chuffed because I was gonna buy the car after the race anyway but I won it non-stock! I quickly upgraded it and now it looks the sex:

Sold all my cars (every pink slip, was working on number 9) to see how much I'd get. God-f*cking-damnit. Luckilly my RX-8 wasn't one of them. Got a sh*tload of cash now though, might re-buy a Cayman.
