SAMA (San Andreas Mission Analyser)

Recommended Posts

That's the only one version available, as far as I know.

Edit: Crap, this seems to be a modified version of SAMA and it's clearly not working as it should. I'll get the proper SAMA hosted somewhere else and provide the download link.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit2: Download link has been updated. This SAMA should be working without any issues. smile.gif

What? wow.gif

It's the tool that I downloaded some months ago from this page. It's odd, it works for me fine, I use Avast by the way. I re-uploaded it in a .ZIP file this time, maybe it'll work? confused.gif

Still the same thing, I guess Avira yet again detects false positive.

Thankfully after disabling Avira's Realtime Protection the program works as it should be.

Thanks miromiro.

I used to be able to use this tool, but recently it acts as if it is loading the application and shows up in the taskbar, but if I click on it, it won't bring up the program. Ideas?

Make sure your anti-virus is not blocking it. Avira kept on reporting it as a threat and I had to turn off real-time protection to get SAMA to run. Could be something similar.

I use the same virus protection software that I did before when it worked, but I disabled the real-time protection and then ran SAMA to see if it would work. No luck. I am thinking maybe it has to do with not be compatible with the newer version of .netfx. I have version 4.

----No luck. I tried going back to just version 1.1 and it still doesn't help. No one has ever had this problem before? Crazy.

This is a modding question, so it belongs here. wink.gif

Once again I am having the problem with SAMA initializing, but not actually showing up on screen. The SAMA icon just chills in the task bar below. It happened while I was using the Alt-Tab to switch between the analyzer and the game. This time the game was having issues while I was trying to switch back to it. I ended the program in task manager and then SAMA stopped functioning. I was able to circumvent the problem last time because I ended up formatting my computer for other reasons and reinstalled everything. Any thoughts?

None of the links work anymore so I've hosted it myself. Others should have access to this too I feel. Maybe Weasel can edit the link in on the opening post with the one below.

SAMA should analyze save files for you without changes, but if you want it to analyze the game in progress you will need to Run this application as an administrator. It needs access to game memory - Windows doesn't allow that anymore without admin approval.

I had the same problem. I've found out that you can run SAMA, open the Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC), press RMB on SAMA and choose "Maximize Window". SAMA will only work while maximized for some reason.
