fox09
Damn, I want this game, but at the moment, I'm a frickin' hobo, and can't afford it. Hah, my friend got it though, he bought this, put it in his drive, and realized his archaic DVD drive wouldn't run it. Of course, then he realized that his archaic video card isn't supported either. I lol'ed at him.
Dalpura
Ebony armour > Daedric armour Imperial Legion armour > both of those. (If only for it's looks..) I've just joined the Thieves guild. Which I recommend everyone do. Selling stolen goods is the best source of income there is. Plus you can get the recruiter to pay off your warrants. I'll check it out first thing when I get home. Just been using the console to get and try stuff out this evening. Trows
I'm trying to get this in game (I was bored when I made it) Tree Armour But when one wears it, it makes the upperbody just disappear, and only shhows the bottom half of the model. I have no idea why, but I feel I should spend less time modding the game and more time playing it. Blasphemy. This game was meant to be modded. Once the community gets proper mod authoring tools (such as how to f*cking implement Havok into armor so it won't disappear) and is allowed to release individual quests, something could happen that has never happened in a game I've played. This game could possibly go on FOREVER. Think about that. Unless modders get bored, they could release new quests, items, and whatnot for as long as they want. 100% completion could become a moot point. It'll be like Morrowind, which still has things being released for it today. Anyway good point, I have more fun modding the game anyway. Liam, Yeah, it's going to rock for Elves, i'm going to make a small town outside the borders of Oblivion (Cyrodiil?) with a mini quest, a new race and when I finish it all, a full set of armour. No dough this post will get questions and and maybe even some fighting.

MyMothersMySister
After putting the horsearmour modfiles in the correct directory, Fire up Oblivion and select Data from the list instead of play. Make sure the horse mod box is checked or you won't get the message when you get in game. Then you must proceed to the stables outside the Imperial city. If you don't take a horse you can convince the chick to sell you a sh*tty one with armour for 500 coins like the one in my pics. I found the thieves guild bummers hanging around the Imperial city shacks at night. Armand and his crew. This is a picture of me taking their lunch money! @ Dalpura, Did you mean the Imperial Dragon Armour? It is quite sweet. Also went and pimped a black horse up with the Elven armour. Dalpura
How does one go about joining the Thieves Guild? What I did to join the Thieve's Guild is steal something, find a guard, and use the go to jail option. Preferably do this in the Imperial City. When you get out there's a dark elf who gives you a note. It says go to Dareloth Gardens at midnight. I found this a bit confusing to be honest; finding exactly where that is. Go to the Imperial City waterfront, and go behind off the stone path, there'll be some wooden houses, etc - and a garden behind the house on the far inside wall. Talk to the guy there. If he says he's waiting for the Argonian and Wood Elf, and they're actually there. Talk to the Wood Elf then to guy again and it'll work. When I went there the Wood Elf was standing kinda strange so I assume something bugged. Then you do what you have to do to get into the guild. I won't spoil that, but feel free to ask if you have trouble. Once you've done that you can sell your stolen wares to the guy in Bruma. Just pay off your warrants to the Thieve's Guild recruiter in the garden before you go to sell anything; otherwise it's a bitch getting in and out without getting caught by the Bruma guards. @ BroDan & MmMs - I never played Morrowind either. For the simple fact when it was popular I was at school, and didn't want to touch it for the simple fact I heard almost everyday from the class idiot how awesome "Mowwowind" was. Further more I'm never going to try it. I've seen screenshots and after playing Oblivion I don't think I could stand the sight of it. @ Dalpura, Did you mean the Imperial Dragon Armour? It is quite sweet. Actually no. The armour the Imperial soldiers wear I meant, with the variation horseman helmet. But that's pretty hot also, haven't come across that yet I don't think. C Bear
I played a lot of Morrowind, it was definately a great game. In fact, it's still in the top 25 selling PC games right now, 4 years after its release.

Go on the official forums and search for some .ini's twealed for 6800 owners, and you should be able to get your fps up to 30 outside, 60 inside, without losing much good looks. I played Morrowind too, it was good, but it was for hardcore gamers. Oblivion was obviously dumbed down so it was more for the softcore action gamers, but I personally don't mind. For example, Morrowind had: Short Blade, Long Blade, not just Blade. It also had no compas, and no help for finding stuff on quests, except the info people gave you. That was the biggest flaw in the game imo, I only ever completed two quests in two years of playing it, though Morrowind probably isnt a game for 11-12yo's. The terrain was very boring in Morrowind(imo), it had no mountains, though it claimed to have some, it was just brown hills, and it had the most boring creatures and monsters ever. But, all in all, I'd take Oblivion over MW anyday. @Dalpura: There is a MUCH easier way than doing that. Read the posters, bribe a beggar, and he will tell you where. Then you go there, and it all goes by itself. @Trows: Cool, I'd really like to help out too, but I have to way till mid-May to start learning the CS and such, so you might be near completion when I finally get to doing something.
