maws
dorian glitch is rather old. but yeah. Admittedly yeah, but I couldn't be bothered searching the topic to find if anyone had posted it. Also, I'm playing a wood elf agent with the birth sign of the Shadow as well MMMS. Sneak bow attacks. (I use the Attack & Hide mod though.) My intelligence/willpower (whatever governs the regen rate of it) is at 55, but it doesn't replenish itself. The Atronach birth sign stops it regenerating on its own, I haven't got to play Oblivion yet (my copy just arrived) but in Morrowind you needed to get things to attack you with magic so you could absorb the spells to regenerate your magicka. gta_king
Am I the only one who finds it odd that I have exactly 24 hours on my savegame and yet am only level 2? Not at all, you can complete the game at level 2 I believe due to scaling, it'd be a bit tricky though.

I took a quest about some painter, and was sucked into his painting. There there were lots of trolls, and the first one I met completely wiped me out. If I had about 5000 health potions I guess I could complete it, but I dunno really.
Dunpeal
Does the money replenish while hes dead, or do you steal it while he's alive and then kill him for unknown reasons? EDIT:(I mean Dorian) Edited April 10, 2006 by Dunpeal
imheretostay
I suppose you could pickpocket the money off of him, and then bribe him again and again to gain the money, or just kill him. I haven't tried it myself though. EDIT: I just read how to do the glitch again and it seems like it replenishes in a way. Sounds like it just doesnt dissappear at all, so you can keep looting. EDIT:(I mean Dorian) Get the money in his inventory somehow (bribing), then kill him. Loot the corpse of the money, and it won't actually disappear so you can keep clicking and getting it. Am I the only one who finds it odd that I have exactly 24 hours on my savegame and yet am only level 2? Kinda. I'm level 14 and I've been playing for less than that. If you use your major skills all the time, it's difficult not to level.

I use sneak, blade, marksman, and alchemy alot, and they are all in my major skills. I suddenly feel the urge to start a Dark Brotherhood gang here on GTAF. Yes. That's the time to fire and 1 arrow takes out a troll. Easy peasy. Passed it first time. What's the bonuses of becoming a Vampire? Valiente has offered to change me but I declined. What are the pros and cons? It's just not funny how much I've been playing Oblivion this weekend. Never thought I'd be this into it at all. Does the Dorian trick work on PC? TEoS
About being a vampire: Pros: Faster and Stronger. A few spells. You get more stat boosts the longer you go without feeding (Which doesn't make much sense). Cons: The longer you go without feeding, the more vulnerable you become to sunlight. Traveling is much harder and waiting to pass time must be done indoors since you'll get toasted. People will stop talking to you. Anyone know where I can buy Lockpicks? I used to get them from the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary but since I had to 'purify' it the merchant is no longer there. Will another merchant eventually appear here? Are there other Dark Brotherhood sanctuaries? Edited April 10, 2006 by TEoS

Are there other Dark Brotherhood sanctuaries? If you're outside the Imperial City with the stables on your left, You'll see some sneaky bloke who stands near the wall. You have to follow the wall left, past the stables, keep walking and not very far along the wall is a guy selling lockpicks. If I remember correctly. Don't think I'll bother being a Vampire unless I need to later on. Cheers. I'd take a screenie but it won't let me for some reason. lolz Messiah To The Animals #Cyclop9
BroDan
You have to edit one of the config files to enable the screens button, I got over 100 screens but they are all in .bmp and i'm too f*cking lazy to convert and upload them. One thing i'm really annoyed at right now is I lost "Shadowmere" the best horse in the game, he no longer gets stabled outside the city and I just can't seem to find where he went Edited April 10, 2006 by BroDan Still alive, lurking in the shadows. Am I right in thinking this Horse armour doesn't work with 64bit chips? Anyone got it to work at all? If so pm me and give me a hand please. Thanks. Wtf is up with all Morriettes family coming back to life and kicking the sh*t out of him costing me my bonus anyway? Sorry to here about your sexy horse Dan. imheretostay
How do I poison(or put other stuff on it, such as paralyze or whatever) on my arrows? I never figured that out. BTW: If you are wanting to show off screenies, here's a bmp to jpg converter: http://www.thebeatlesforever.com/processtext/abcimage.html Cheers Edited April 10, 2006 by ImHereToStay

Would be a big help, seeing as I'm a woodelf ranger. Equip your arrows and then go to your alchemy section and select a poison of your choice That you posses. It will then ask if you would like to apply this poison on your equipped weapon which in this case will be your arrows. I'm a woodelf too but an Agent born under the Moonshadow. imheretostay
Thanks mate. Anyway, could you post some screenies? I love seeing good screenies, and my comp (256 SD ram, FX5200 - Yes it runs) looks absolutely sh*te ingame, but it's playable. So yeah, I'd like some cool screenies. FYI: I'm getting a new comp 13th of may (3800+ dualcore, 1gb ram, 7900GT), so I can't be bothered upgrading this heap of sh*t. The new comp will run Oblivion beautifully though. Woodelves FTW! imheretostay
Nice screenies. I hate your horse though, regular paint horses are for me. I've become attached to my 500-gold discount slow horse. Oh, and I got my first taste of Nighteye the last night. How cool is that blue? You should try being a vampire, they get the Eye of the Hunter spell, which is Nighteye and Detect life in one. Really useful for Dark Brotherhood quests (especially the one where you have to sneak in the prison).
BroDan
I'm not going to post most of my screenies, there are a lot of spoilers in them of some of the cooler stuff from later in the main quest. Here are some though and yes I only ever play in 3rd person, it's more fun. Enjoy EDIT: If you are wondering why everything has a purple glow... that's my Detect Life necklace I never take off, it helps with quests. Still alive, lurking in the shadows. MyMothersMySister
Anyone else find/finding the "Aid for Bruma" quest annoying as sh*t? Not attempted that yet mate. Just installed the Horse mod and it's goddam sexy indeed. I'm off to pwn someone. All they need now is a mod to allow Horseback attacks so you can behead those annoying Goblins without slowing down. Pissed off I have to go to work tonight. I wanted to finish the Dark Brotherhood missions to Recieve Shadowmere and get her armoured up /me waves life goodbye. @ Trows, That armours the sh*t man. Keep working at it and I'll be having some of that for my sexy Wood Elf. Messiah To The Animals #Cyclop9
anuj
I'm trying to get this in game (I was bored when I made it) Tree Armour But when one wears it, it makes the upperbody just disappear, and only shhows the bottom half of the model. I have no idea why, but I feel I should spend less time modding the game and more time playing it. Blasphemy. This game was meant to be modded. Once the community gets proper mod authoring tools (such as how to f*cking implement Havok into armor so it won't disappear) and is allowed to release individual quests, something could happen that has never happened in a game I've played. This game could possibly go on FOREVER. Think about that. Unless modders get bored, they could release new quests, items, and whatnot for as long as they want. 100% completion could become a moot point. MyMothersMySister
Ebony armour > Daedric armour I totally agree 'nujer.
