Skirge
Well, there was a mission for rednecks, where you had to get into the prison... Anyway, there i have to change clothes back, and if I don't, then the goddamn pink marker stays on the screen!!!

Thedarkmaster
The only way you can get into the area with the change of clothes is to jump a ramp going south in to that area. Just look for a ramp going south and you'll know what I'm talking about
Skirge
Let yourself be arrested. Doesn't work! in 'fire truck fun' you get one for stealing the cop car. the marker goes away when you kill the yellow van driver it goes only away, when you're out the cop car, before chasing the van.. but i cant to be with the cop car, and if i go into some cop car, then the marker gets back on my way. And if driver is out the van, and i go away then, then the marker never goes.. And if i destroy the van, then mission over and my uniform disappears.. Sektor
I don't think there's any official way to do it, even if you could save the game, the uniform would be gone when you load. You could make a new mission file or change the player remap on an existing one. Only the .mis files for the 3rd level were released by rockstar, so changing on other levels would be more difficult. Sektor
GTA2 mission compiler, documentation and 3rd level mission files In the example folder there is a file called bil.mis. Open it with notepad. // player's normal start positionPLAYER_PED shaft = ( 44.5 , 102.0 , 2.0 ) 25 0 If you change the number 25 to a different number then the player colour will change. To make the change take effect, save changes and then compile the .mis file (convert it to a .scr). Run miss2.exe, click "File" > "Load". Select bil.mis then click "Run" > "Run parser". It should say "Compiled successfully". Now copy bil.mis and the "bil" folder into your GTA2\data folder. Run the game, select 3rd map and your colour will be changed. You will still look like a gang member. If you want to look like a cop then add this line: CHANGE_CHAR_REMAP ( shaft , 0 ) Edited October 24, 2005 by Sektor
