registrau
I played just a bit this afternoon and I didn't see any way to save my game, I clickes escape and there was no "save game" option. When/how does GTA SA save the games? Thanks!
Mxyzptlk
You save your game at the safe houses, the only one at the beginning is CJ's mom's house. After a few missions the house opens up and you walk to the diskette in the kitchen to save the game.

When/how does GTA SA save the games? Thanks! When you start a new game, you are told to ride a bike to a certain point on the map, marked by "CJ" -- this spot is a house with a red marker in front of it. When you enter this marker, you trigger a mission called "Big Smoke." Upon completing that mission, you are then allowed to enter the house and inside the house is a marker shaped like a floppy disk. Walking onto this spot will allow you to save your game. As you progress in the game you will unlock and/or purchase more places to save, but in the very beginning, CJ's house is the main save point once you complete that first mission. Also, please note that this topic might have been better asked in the "Gameplay" forum as it is primarily concerned with how the game is played as opposed to a PC-specific question. registrau
Ok thanks for the fast replies, and sorry I thought saving game was something PC specific (I dont have a playstation!, dunno how they work) Thanks!
Mike0
Saving the game is not something PC specific it is just that rockstar made it this way. And it has nothing to do with the way that PS works. It is just that you were probably used to the saving in most of the other PC games. And it is obvious that you are a newcomer to the GTA franchise, because you would otherwise know how to save the game, since it is the same since GTA III, and since GTA2 in a way. I want to know why didn't you start playing GTA since GTA III. Why start now? My theory is that San Andreas made the biggest impact on the non-GTA players. And now suddenly alot of GTA-haters want to know what the fuss is all about.
