AshleeSimpson
Ive just about payed off my car and i need a new computer since this one is broken and barley runs. I really want a laptop, and i think this is the one i want. http://cgi.ebay.com/DELL-INSPIRON-8200-P-4...1QQcmdZViewItem Would those specs be able to play battlefield2 on it? or would it need a better graphics card? Are these laptops relativley good? Hows battery Life? I dont care about the weight. Im a big boy. What should the most i spend on this kind of laptop be? Are there better ones for under 1000 bucks? Am i asking too many questions? And yes this is my last thread about buying a computer. EDIT: This one is nice too. http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/p...s=19&l=en&s=dhs Thanks. Waste
That video card is not supported by BF2. You will need something a good bit faster than that to run BF2 and still look decent.

Trows
If you want a good gaming laptop, Alienware is probably the way to go. No dough this post will get questions and and maybe even some fighting.
AshleeSimpson
If i got an alienware id be lookin at 1700 bucks. Is the graphics card that they use compatible with bf2?
Sutto
I saw a Dell Laptop a while back with a Nvidia 6800 Go GFX Card, 1gig of ram and a 100gig HDD for around $2,100. Which works out to be around $1,600 USD. This deal is over now, but Dell are bringing out new offers every week, so keep your eye out for a good one like that. AshleeSimpson
Maybe i should just go with a desktop computer. Is a 256MB Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX much better than a nVidia GeForce 6800? Its 450 bucks more. Oh my god. Everytime i find a comp that i really want, i find a diffrent comp that i want. EDIT: WOW I thnk im gonna close this topic and start a new one on the small alien ware desktop one. http://alienware.com/product_detail_pages/...ode=SKU-DEFAULT Edited September 28, 2005 by AshleeSimpson
Sutto
You'd be better off building a PC, Alienware charge almost twice as much as it would cost to build their systems yourself.

AshleeSimpson
Building it myself would turn into a disaster. And it would take a long time
