GTA3Freak-2001 Posted September 28, 2005 Share Posted September 28, 2005 Its actually illegal for people to give out their .exe files so that won't be happening. What modding can't you do with this version, I am not sure about this second edition but I am assuming it is basically the same deal as if you patch the first edition which in that case means only trainers and programs that hook into the games exe will failt to work. This is just an image, the actual game is all the files in your GTA folder. ...Yeah, but the ".exe" is the game engine... not only a little image... it's what uses the other files to run the game... it's the most importent file in a game!!! @harryhynie: Sorry if I seem so ignorant, but, does v2.0 existe? And when you say that mods don't work with a version of the ".exe" file, it's strange cause like 1% of all mods for SA have something to do with the ".exe" file. So all discussion is in one topic, I've seen heaps of topic like these in the past day.
