adam schiller
On November 22nd, System Of A Down will be releasing the highly anticipated album, Hypnotize, part two of a promised two-album set. You can get the CD version, which includes 12 new songs, artwork from Daron's Dad, and specially designed packaging that matches Mezmerize and Hypnotize together. You can also get the Dual Disc version, which features all of the above plus some exclusive behind-the-scenes footage showing the making of both records. 1. "Attack" 2. "Dreaming" 3. "Kill Rock 'n Roll" 4. "Hypnotize" 5. "Stealing Society" 6. "Tentative" 7. "U-Fig" 8. "Holy Mountains" 9. "Vicinity of Obscenity" 10. "She's Like Heroin" 11. "Lonely Day" 12. "Soldier Side" I'm surely going to buy the double disk what about you guys?? I wondered why Kill Rock 'n Roll and Holy Mountains weren't on the Mesmerized CD they should both be good recorded as I have only heard the 2 songs live. Guglielminpietro
Another 30 minute album. They could've just put those 2 together, but no, they need the money. Absolutely true. This is the flip-side to the anti-piracy argument. They want us to buy things instead of downloading, but what do they expect when we get ripped off like this? soundcloud.com/TheDamnFineCoats
-shaDow
Their kwalety of music is getting worst as the year's go on kwalety > kwantety, IMO. I enjoyed System of a Down's self-titled, but just about every other thing they've done has been stale and mediocre. Lackluster is another apt word choice. jelly
yar da kwaileitey r geten woars. I didn't mind soad's earlier albums, but now that their political bullsh*t is more apparent they're simply annoying. Couldn't care less about the album length as I don't intend to buy it anyways. Saggy
A lot of people don't seem to appreciate it when a band tries something different. I mean, SOAD has been mostly changing up their style as of late, and they do a good job of making something that sounds good to listen to. I am a little disapointed that they split the album into two parts, though. Just a blatant display on their part of trying to make album sales, but I won't have to worry considering I don't buy music. Only other thing that's kind of annoying me is that how they use to be some-what subtly political, but now it's just blatant, aswell. {Matty}{Vice}
All the piracy stuff, System really don't care how you listen to their music, they just want you to listen to it.
Groovy
Never been a fan of SOAD. The only song I'v ever heard by them that I even remotly liked was BYOB.
Guglielminpietro
Never been a fan of SOAD. The only song I'v ever heard by them that I even remotly liked was BYOB. Ugh, but that song is awful. That was what made me decide to not bother getting their last album. soundcloud.com/TheDamnFineCoats
Dr_Shark
Rock Against Bush had like 28 songs on it.... I will say that SOAD's sound has drastically changed from their old songs. Mezmerize was okay, it didn't suck, but it wasn't that great either. Sugar was great, but weird at the same time.
The-King
I do kind of like the song Questions, considering that I was humming it all day after I first heard it.~TGK |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|

PCJ.
I've already heard live versions of two of the tracks off the new album, and I'm not too impressed by them. System of a Down have been heading down hill for a few years.
EmSixTeen
I used to love SOAD back before Toxicity came out, but after a while I let all the bullsh*t get to me about them being sh*te and the likes.. Went back to give them a wee listen a while back, and forgot how bloody great they are. They were awesome live, too. I'll be getting Hypnotize, but not buying it.
