blackstar67 Posted September 26, 2005 Share Posted September 26, 2005 I had a version of San Andreas 1st Ed for Xbox that I played for a long time but later discovered a defect on the disc that prevented me from going any further. I took the disc back to the store where they replaced it with a 2nd Ed copy of the game. When I tried to load my saved game I found that I couldn't see any of my previous saves. I went into the Xbox memory manager and saw that I had two seperate entries for each San Andreas edition and I couldn't get my old ones into the new ones with my memory card or any other method. GTA3Freak-2001 Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 I am pretty sure you're stuck having to start again mate, since its the 2nd edition it means the hot coffee thing has been removed thus changing the main.scm file which needs to match up to the main.scm that you saved the game with.
