MiLO83
Hi, I've been at the forums for around 3 years and am well aware of the rules. When I moved across the country I left my GTA VC PC game in one of many boxes at my parents house. Luckily I did take my VC for XBOX. I legally own GTA 3, and VC, for both PC and XBOX. I am going to school for Video Game production starting in January. As an attempt to make an impressive portfolio of my work I have been playing with getting homemade PC models into the xbox vice engine, and would now like to write missions for it. When I run Bartons Editor, it asks for gta_vc.exe. I found one on my harddrive, but it think its from the No CD crack. Now if I was reading this I'd think I was lying too, I'm not, so help me if you can trust me. (I would probably just download VC and not ask you, if I had access to warez and was interested in killing the industry I plan to work in) So, appearently Barton's wants a PC Gta_VC.exe, and American.gxt. If anyone knows what other files are required to open and edit a .scm, please let me know. If you have these files which in no way constitute anything usefull on their own, except a key to get Bartons Editor working, please send me a PM or Reply below. I am not a newb. (Reagan) Mods if this post is in anyway inappropriate, please proptly delete it. I am not trying to get warez in any form, I am trying to get Bartons Editor to work with my Legally owned XBOX VC. Thanks to anyone who reads this or can help me out. - MiLO83 (Myles Johnston)
Opius
Put the PC version default.ide and american.gxt files in the same folder as the Mission Builder exe. It should give you a notice saying it's using the local files, and work without needing gta_vc.exe.
MiLO83
Thanks Opius, I'll see if I can come up with those files. - MiLO83
