jarjar
I don't htink anyone has made a tutorial or posted anything around here about adding land to SA. SO like adding gound to walk on and place cars, maps on, ect. It would be a great help if someone could put something here about it. How to make make land, like a small tutorial and explanation. I am a quick learner so it shouldn't take long for me to work it out. Thanks in advance!

jarjar
Is there an easyer way. I know that is you look at some of the mods like ocrams SA map and the like it is done in an ipl or ide file. Can it bo done that way and how, i mean i know you can do it will notepad but how do you put where the land is and the like?
xrk
I dont know ocrams map but do you mean you want to use sa's models? that would just be finding the models you want to use in steve-m's map viewer and placing them about with the ipl's by changing co-ords (in notepad), read up on the ide's and ipl's definition. jarjar
So what your saying is that i can use the already made land made by Rock* and just put it were i want, like in the ocean somewhere and it would work like land. Cool. I am going to try that now.
deNULL
So what your saying is that i can use the already made land made by Rock* and just put it were i want, like in the ocean somewhere and it would work like land. Cool. I am going to try that now. Somewhere in ocean, but not anywhere! I noticed that SA does not draw any map objects outside (-3000.0; -3000.0) - (3000.0; 3000.0) square. I think it can be corrected only by patching gta_sa.exe. I could be wrong, put me right if that's the case.
xrk
I think its 6000 but yes your right but I dont think theres a patch for sa to change it
deNULL
I think its 6000 but yes your right but I dont think theres a patch for sa to change it 6000x6000 is the size of square, (-3000.0; -3000.0) and (3000.0; 3000.0) is coords of its south-west and north-east corners. If there is no patch to change this limit, it can be created, isn't it? But I also noticed some objects in IPL files outside limiting square, so they will become visible if we remove that square. I don't know easy way to fix that.
xrk
Oh sorry I miss-read your post It was done for vc by memory hacking (I think), I dunno about sa?
jarjar
There isn't a memery hacker for SA yet. Steve-m said there may not be wone because SA used something that won't let the program work.
