Demarest
The Print Screen button on your keyboard will send the current screen to the clipboard. From there, you can atl+tab out of the game, open up your favorite image editor, paste it, save it, whatever you'd like.
rampage fever
You're gonna laugh at my next question. Where is this legendary "clipboard"? My Encarta Encyclopedia says the same thing...copied images go to the clipboard, but I searched my computer by typing "clipboard" and nothing came up. What the fark is it? Where is it? I use Windows 2000, if this helps.... Edited!!!:Hey guys, this isn't some lame trick question! I really don't know how to access the clipboard images! (Yes, I'm dumb, okay? Some people never finished school, I'm one of them, and we didn't learn anything on computers back then anyway!!!) Help! Let me know how to do it, so I can post some funny ass screenshots from my games!!! Edited September 26, 2005 by rampage fever
ThunderPower
Once it's on the clip board you can open Paint or any other image editor you have and paste the image in there. The clipboard is whatever you have copied last.
Demarest
The clipboard isn't anything at all. It's more of a concept than an object. Whenever you tell windows to copy something, it stores it in memory. It's only said to be "on the clipboard". For that matter, to paste something from the clipboard only makes a copy of it FROM the clipboard. The data actually remains. Like if you wanted to save this text on your computer. You could highlight it, right-click and select copy. Doing so would put this text to "the clipboard". Now if you use the Paste option in ANYTHING that supports text, that same text will pop out. Do it a few times to test that it remains on the clipboard until something else replaces it. There is only one clipboard though and it is only capable of containing one item. So if you have all that text on the clipboard, and then choose to copy an image, that text is gone and now the clipboard contains the image. Just like with my example here, you can then choose Paste in ANYTHING that supports images and it will pop into that program.
