The save point would be the old Phil Cassidy hideout in Little Haiti. You would also get missions from Umberto, Diaz and AmmuNation. And Vice City would look a little different as it is eight years before the original game. Maybe also he wouldn't acquire the hideout until about halfway through the game, like Tommy got Diaz's mansion. Or it could be set in '75 with Phil just back from 'Nam. OJsAlibi Posted September 26, 2005 Share Posted September 26, 2005 Dude, I was actually thinking of typing up a huge thing about a Vice City Stories storyline with characters (former and original characters), missions, and do mock screen shots. I was lingering around the idea of it being set in 1991... just before San Andreas' story takes place. Also, the storyline was going to center around an original new character by the name of Jose Muraco being sent to Vice City by his employer and uncle Colonel Cortez after his daughter Mercedes is murdered and the only way Muraco can uncover who killed her and why... he's got to get his feet wet by working his way around the city of Vice. He'd be working for ganglords, struggling independent film makers (perhaps Starkweather from Manhunt), Real Estate gurus, the elderly at some old folks home (!), and some guy who in 1986 came down to Vice from a city of Liberty with problems of missing cocaine, mobster's money... only to take over the town himself and become a made man. If LCS is sucessful then Rockstar has no reason not to make a VCS. For all we know it may already be in development. And Nonretard that storyline's awesome but I don't feel like picking it up. Your ideas are good but there is a high percentage that anything from the past GTA's will not return in to the up coming GTA or GTA's. However, I want to be a writer, preferably film... and the Grand Theft Auto universe and all the potential that reverbs off it is truly cool. Different main character. Different ped skins. And different Weapons. A group of modders should do this. The small size of Vice City actually bothered me a lot; I don't know why, but it just did. I never knew the VCS info was released so early. I am still on the first island, its cool how they added that empire building to VCS. Being a repoman & a pimp is definitely fun.
