Opius
Save files are nothing more than a memory dump of the game. You cannot use them to install mods or anything of the sort. You could, in theory, edit things like your current stats and that, but not enough is known about the format to consider it feasible. If all you want to do is make backups of your saved games, that'll work. Use something like an AR Max.

Mike_Toreno
Only thing I can think of is start a new game and don't do the money/health cheats - Mike
Fireblade_M4
Lol, i've done something like this.(I've got AR MAX) First I extracted the "Half-Life System data" file and used a programme to edit saves. (This programme can be found on my site, www.cheats-xtreme.tk) My save contained a file called: "config.cfg" I opend this file with as a text-file, then I added some stuff (You can use the Console-commands that are in the Half Life PC version) Now I've can activate cheats and some home-made scripts by pressing a button on my USB-keyboard! It's really cool!
