Yesterday when I played the game when I got into a vehicle there was no vehicle noise - No horn, engine etc yet other cars were making the noises. I tryed it again this morning and it worked fine. Try it again now and the problem is back. I have an Audigy 2 Platinum Sound Card and NVIDIA Geforce 6600GT Graphics card. This also affects telephone calls and when CJ talks. The radio plays fine - when you crash you hear the impact noise. This problem is really annoying me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Check your sound settings maybe the Sound FX is down while the Voice is up? tinker with the sound settings you may find a solution. I hope you fix your problem. EDIT: - Issue on all machines where certain collisions caused parts of the audio system to crash (sound effects, cutscene audio - only radio keeps going) - users know this as "Rain / Thunderstorm bug".
