scooby967
Do you think the bridge leading to Shoreside Vale will go up and down just like in GTA:3? But this time it will go up and down to let the ferries through. I hope it goes up and down to let the ferries through:D What do you think? Asif
Looks like the bridge isnt completed yet. (Or may be it's the bad draw distance!)
cpt.pinguin
Looks like the bridge isnt completed yet. (Or may be it's the bad draw distance!) well you can see buildings after that bridge, so the bridge must be broken/notready note, the draw distance isn't bad! Asif
note, the draw distance isn't bad! Point noted. Originally quoted by scooby967 But this time it will go up and down to let the ferries through. What do you think? That's an impossible concept. As you can see those 2 loads (red) attached to both pillers dont allow the lifting portion to come with the sea-level as you have experienced in GTA III. da gta master
Seems strange that in 1998 there were no bridges Ferries were the main way of transport between the islands. but recently they started building the bridges and the ferry workers will lose there jobs. tommy vercetti guy
ITS BAD DRAW DISTANCE! WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM A HANDHELD??? Hopefully the bridges get completed sometime in the game.
Fletchnuts
Well let's think about means of conveyance between islands in GTAIII Bridges Tunnels Subways Boats Dodo (for those of us skilled enough to fly it) Now about means of conveyance in LCS Bridges (Portland for sure once construction is complete) Tunnels (This I'm not sure about because I can't remember if they were undergoing repairs or construction in GTAIII) Subways (I assume they're in LCS) Boats (For sure, although there were those stupid barriers in GTAIII) Ferries (For sure between islands, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to go directly from Shoreside to Portland and vice versa) I think it would really suck to not have a bridge between Shoreside and Staunton, but who knows. Also I'm curious as to how fast the ferries will travel. Regardless I believe it would be best to figure out whether or not the tunnels are operational in this iteration of GTA. I'm assuming the subway is open, but aside from motorcycles getting vehicles to and from shoreside is going to be a pain (if you opt to skip the ferry). EDIT I agree with ^^^ about the draw distance. I think it's great for a handheld, but I think it's unreasonable to believe it will be superior to the PS2's. There may be a higher level of detail in the mid range but long views will definitely be inferior. Also I read somewhere that the streets seemed emptier than in GTAIII, this may be a direct result of the R* boys trying to boost performance/draw distance. I'll try to find the preview where I read that. Edited September 25, 2005 by Fletchnuts
MajorGlory
Draw distance issue for sure. How can you build a bridge like that on one pillar?
