j_mac Posted September 25, 2005 Share Posted September 25, 2005 hi guys dont you think that all of the previews are overstating the fact that there wont be any planes in lcs ? no? well i do because it isnt like rockstar to put out negative information is it ? also i would like to add the fact that the title of the gamespy priview was "planes traines and automobiles" i now its catchy but it could be a hint ? wat do you lot think ? It says: The Radio Stations, Horn, Sub Missions (Taxi, Paramedic etc.) and Weapons are all controlled/chosen using the D-Pad. One mission the magazine's editor played saw the police using the "Stinger" spike strips which are thrown across the road to burst your tires. Another mission is given to you by a Priest (perhaps Pastor Richards from Vice City) and sees you trying to gun down three "superstars". There will be customisation of the controls to a limited extent. The magazine describes that you can swap the actions of the D-Pad/Analog Stick to suit your playing style. The magazine also states that the Dodo will not appear in the game. I would hope that this is wrong, but it's most likely correct. I would have like all the additions added since GTA3 to be included, such as swimming, climbing, motorcycles, helicopters, planes...etc, but it's looking like bikes might be the only one. I can see how problematic it would be to include planes and swimming, but I still think they should have included the dodo. They could have made it even harder to fly if they felt it necessary, but I enjoyed the challenge of it in GTA3 and the reward of seeing the city from above and getting to new places made it all worth it.
