This summer i took a trip to the Henry ford Museum in Dearborn MI. needless to say it was awesome he has the Kennedy assignation car. the Rosa parks bus, and the Lincoln Assignation chair. but anyways. ive always been in love with the GT-40. the originals. not the fake new ones. and saw this and almost fell over in jealousy. id love to have this. im sure its worth a few bills..

"Ford Mark IV Race Car

This car, driven by Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt, won the 24 hours of LeMans on June 10-11, 1967. A new lap record of three minutes, 23 seconds was set, as well as an overall race speed record of 135.48 mph. A similar Mark IV won the 12 hours of Sebring on April 1, 1967.

Yes! A real car enthusiast here.

Yes they are very nice. I'm generally fond of the Le Mans cars from the 60s. I went to Crubile Garage near Paris, they are well known for their work on vintage race prepared Porsches. I entered the workshop and i was like wtf?, they were servicing three 917 shorttail Porsches, 2 of them in Gulf colors. There was also a 911 S lightweight 1970 on californian plates. The guy shipped it from Cali to France (!!!) to get it serviced.

Signature soon.

And you call baja an enthusiast!

That dude must live for the ride, to spend that sort of scratch on a car, or have absolutely no trust in American car servicers.

I have been searching for this car everywhere ... suppose I didn't look hard enough smile.gif It was on the front cover of a "History of Ford" book I had and started wondering what happened to this MKIV. I really must go to Dearborn next time im in America. Bit of a detour from Chicago though smile.gif

This is the limousine in which President John F. Kennedy was assassinated that day in Dallas, November 22, 1963.

President Abraham Lincoln was sitting in this rocking chair during the production of Our American Cousin at Ford's Theatre when he was assassinated on April 14, 1865.

On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks boarded this Montgomery City bus to go home from work. On this bus on that day, she initiated a new era in the American quest for freedom and equality

1) FORD IS THE BADEST COMPANY IN THE HOLE WORLD THAT MAKES CARS

2) if u ride 200.000 km the engine dies

Thats was well worth a bump. Here are a large sum of pain killers

Please dont bump again unless you have a valid reason
