Extrix
There is probably another post on this but my User Radio Station does not work! .. Ok, I select the files I want to play in-game (MP3's) and I put them into the User Track folder and start up the game. Auto-scan (In the Options/Audio Menu) is on.. But I went into the Audio menu and pressed "Scan Tracks" anyways just to be sure. I started up my saved game.. yet I go to the radio station and all it is is talk radio. Wtf mate? I have tried putting ACTUAL MP3's in the folder and shortcuts to MP3's.. and I have updated my Windows Media Player to Version 10. I have a sh*tload of Codec's installed... I just, don't see what the problem is? If you need anymore info. Give me a shout here.. I'll check back often. P.S. Where's the 'Search' function for the forums... or is there one at all? GodGell
i have the exact same problem. there were hundreds of lame "user radio station help" threads, all with the i-know-better-than-you-n00b attitude, none of them actually answering any real concerns. i hope someone will post a real solution this time. fuck.fear my sig. Killer_Waffle
this has indeed been discussed in several other threads before, maybe they're no longer on the forums, i dunno ...but here's a few tips that should help you get it working... 1) update winamp to one of the latest versions..there's an issue with rockstar's mp3 driver i believe, you can also update media player to the latest version (this didn't work for me though, mp3's still won't play) 2) google for a mp3 to ogg convertor, convert the mp3's to the ogg format and throw them in your "my documents\sa\user tracks", then scan again and it should work (this option does work for me..) hope this helps
