Sarastro
Just had some fun while most drunk tonight, charging around through canyons, trees, and under bridges in a Hydra with two air-force jets on my tail. So, unless this has been done before (possible, perhaps even probable), here's a challenge: How long can you run for in the air with at least 5 stars, evading the Air Force, and how good can you make it look? Conditions Any aerial vehicle allowed. Not allowed to attack anyone. Time starts from when landing gear goes up (or heli/jetpack lifts off) to when CJ hits the ground. Switching vehicles is allowed, but time on ground will be excluded. Not allowed to just fly or rotate in a circle. Scoring Time spent in air being pursued x average Style Multiplier awarded on forums. Style awarded for flying close to ground, flying through trees or buildings, under bridges or obstacles, evading missiles, and general WOW! factor. Style Multipliers; x1.0 = Utterly Dire x1.2 = Watching Paint Dry x1.4 = Mediocre x1.6 = Kinda Arousing x1.8 = Serious Sexual Thrills x2.0 = Orgasmatron E.G. Thick Bob posts a vid of a 3 minute chase. 3 posters award him 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 respectively, averaging a x1.4 multiplier. Thick Bob scores 4.2 minutes on his chase. FRAPS or such can record flights (turn details down if it hampers performance), and plenty of bucket sites host crap like this if you look for them. Have fun! Oddsock
Yeah, about your rules... Time starts from when landing gear goes up (or heli/jetpack lifts off) to when CJ hits the ground.Switching vehicles is allowed, but time on ground will be excluded. Wait, I thought you said the chase ended when CJ hit the ground. Yet, you can still hit the ground, thus ending the chase by rule #1, though you can continue the chase by rule #2? WTF? Sarastro
Thought it was pretty self-explanatory, the chase gets interrupted, any time spent on the ground is discluded from the total time, but it allows you to switch vehicles. IE Get hit by a missile over Area 63, freefall into the base, snatch a Hydra and keep going. Time on ground doesn't count, just allows some freedom to change vehicle (pretty hard in itself at 5 stars). Obviously the chase is finally over when CJ gets wasted.
