Scarface187
Has anyone else seen this movie? Did anyone who saw it like it? It is a story that basically revolves around a diamond hiest. I thought it was a pretty damn good film. The plot was good, the characters were better, and Brad Pitt's character of Mickey O'Neil is f*cking awesome. So has anyone seen this? I suck at telling the plot of movies so if nobody else does it first I will get a synopsis of this movie up.
JoeyLeone25
Yea I thought Brad played the Irish Fighting Pikey brilliantly. And there's not much more you can say about the plot bar everybody from Boxing promoters to Armed robbers are trying to get there hands on the diamond. I'm guessing Guy Ritchie isn't as well known to you Americans, but if you can catch Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels which is another gangster film by the director Ritchie. Snatch is the sequel to this. Anomalous Material.com <--> AMF Multiplayer Topic Join Quidco and get Cashback for buying things online!

Snatch is the sequel to this. 'Tis not actually a sequel, it's just another film by the same guy really. None of the characters are the same, in fact a lot of the same actors play totally different characters. I love Snatch, it's one of my favourite films, top 5 definitely. I love the dialogue, the characters, and the way the music is perfectly chosen and fits so well. 'f*ckin In The Bushes' (by Oasis) playing over the film's climatic scenes is great. Top film. soundcloud.com/TheDamnFineCoats
papanesta
Actually, it's not the sequel. Loved this film, might have to get it on DVD when I go into town later today. Damn, I keep buying more and more DVDs. The scene where Mickey is taking the beating, then gets punched off the floor is amazing. Especially when he splashes right through the ring. EDIY: Gug beat me to it.

The bit where he eventually knocks him out is hilarious. soundcloud.com/TheDamnFineCoats
Scarface187
I prefered all the scenes with Boris the bullet dodger. I think he has to be my second favorite character in the movie next to Mickey O'Neil, and I thought it was hillarious when they always played that music when he came into a scene. Smashdamit
Guy is well known to Americans. ..but..mainly for being married to Madonna Snatch is great movie. He makes these comedy caper movies better than anybody else oh..I think my fav scene is where Boris is at gunpoint with those guys from the pawn shop. He gives a little speech where he says something like "since your gun says 'Replica" on it and mine says Desert Eagle 5.0....." sorry it wasn't Boris it was..um...the guy that got shot 10 times or something...methinks its time for another watch of this movie... I remember now..I think...Bullet Tooth Tony Edited September 25, 2005 by Smashdamit
Vanzant
Great film but it does seem to tie in with lock-stock at some points. What I like about Guy Ritches films is that the ending always suprises me.
TEoS
Great f*cking movie. In my opinion, better then Lock, Stock. I love how Guy Ritchie has endings where everything ties together. TEoS has Snatch sigs
Iminicus
I love both movies. Probably the best movie Brad has done.

SWEETSAPRIK
When I saw this topic on the front page I totally thought it was about something else. Both of those movies kick ass. BulletTooth Tony - "The fact that you've got "replica" written down the side of your guns, and the fact that I've got "Desert Eagle point five oh" written on the side of mine should precipitate your balls into shrinking, along with your presence, now f*ck off" Personally I like Snatch a little bit better, but only because I didn't like the ending of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Gta Gamer.
I loved Snatch a great deal. Got it on DVD. Love the bit with the black guys, Vince, Sol and Tyrone. That whole sequence when they go out together is gold. Sol - What's that you got there? Vince - This...is a shotgun, Sol. Sol - It's a f*cking anti-aircraft gun, Vincent. Ghetto Prince
Great movie. We rented it on a whim and ended up with like forty bucks worth of late fees because we just couldn't stop watching it. Everytime a new set of friends (or a single friend) came over, we would force them to watch it. Watched it like 24 times in 3 weeks.
TOGA62
no one seems to know about the new film then? LayerCake. GOOD film too. Not exactly like the other two, but it is certainly a good one. Go check it out. my sister got me watching these films a few years back. good stuff. In snatch, i love the sarcasm of whats his face from the transporter. like at the very end, the cops ask him whats in the car. And hes like "seats and a steering wheel." haha. priceless. CrazyDude
Snatch is an amazing movie. I try to get every one I know to watch it atleast once. It's just one of those films you can watch for ever. I'm not a Brad fan, but god damn, I want to be him in that movie. If I could punch like that, I would start fights with everyone. All the time. Akuma.
Great movie, IMO it was betta than Lock Stock and two smoking barrels. Just so funny, like the getaway driver and some other stuff (haven't seen it for months).
