AZAZEL
I don't know if this has been mentioned earlier, but it appears not to have been. But anyways, Sony are calling back a lot of AC adapters for the slimline version of PS2 as they have discovered a more or less hazardous flaw in the construction which could result in shorts/minor explosions, or such. They've fixed it and will upon filling out the form on the site mentioned below, send you a new one, free of charge, of course. This form will also help you determine if your adapter is one of the faulty ones or not. www.ps2ac.com Just got my new one today. ~az

AZAZEL
Noone has a slimline PS2 that's about 4 or more months old? If yes, you should be just remotely interested. ~az
EmSixTeen
Hehe, this should hush some people who were all 'LOL STUPID MICRO$OFT' when the old XBoxes needed a new power supply.
BroDan
Mines affected, ordered a new one, glad i only used my Slimline twice and left it unplugged since I got it lol. Too much expensive sh*t in the flat to risk a fire because of that. Still alive, lurking in the shadows. BF3 Profile
tuff_luv_capo
I had one once. I left that sh*t on all the time when playing endurance races on GT4.
Bizzare
Hehe, this should hush some people who were all 'LOL STUPID MICRO$OFT' when the old XBoxes needed a new power supply. Man you need to pull your head out of gates arse, when he speaks I can smell your hair gel. It does seem sneaky on Sonys part to not advertise to the lengths MS did, then again maybe it's a minor flaw with a remote possibility.

Perhaps the fact that I'm never, ever wrong? That I like to point out ludicrous things that other 'neutral' people say, do or act? Oh, aye, s'likely that. lol, furthermore, I use Windows, MSN Messenger and XBox.. Nothing else made by Microsoft whatsoever. But like, of course I'm up Bill Gates' arse. 'Cos, y'know. Sure. Rain Ocampo
sh*t, looks like mine is one of the affected ones. Better give them a call. How long does it take for the new AC Adaptor to arrive?
