Vayne
Picture above is made by Mr_Hit I want to introduce to you... "E.E.SG". A group who solves and finds the easter eggs in Libertycity Stories. This group publishes their easter eggs at gtaforums.com. Everyone is able to become a member of E.E.SG but we've got a memberlimit of 50 members, but If we need to enlarge the group i think its possible to raise the limit. Why am i starting so early with this group? Because we need to have a Easter eggs group before the game launches so we can start as quickly as possible. and we need time to make a list of easter eggs that were found in gta 3 so we can look for them in gta: lcs. if an easter egg is found it must be published in the official e.e topic at gtaforums.com. The member who finds and posts an e.e it gets the honor of "first finder". if a not-member publishes it it has the honor too but if you want to help the forum by finding this e.e's you better join. Vayne
Yes i'm dutch, and i get your point. But if we make a group of people who search for eastern eggs we avoid the choatic mess of people arguing about who finds an e.e first. now people who love it to search for e.e's have the chance to get part of a group and has the duty to find them. People who like to find easter eggs themselves should get part of E.E.SG. And if they don't wanna read about e.e's should not read the Easter egg topic.. am i right or am i right? Ps. het is nogal onoverzichtelijk als je gaat quoten op de eerste post vooral omdat er een groot plaatje bij staat. CarpetDweller
I like the idea of the topic but why have a limited number of members? If I'm not one of the lucky 50 does it mean I can't post about anything I find? Also, I think you should give a description and examples of what you count as Easter Eggs. It seems that some people's definition can be quite different to anothers. Edit: I believe there is a GTA3 easter egg topic in the GTA3 section. The only ones I can remember that I count as Easter Eggs are the "You're not supposed to be able to get here you know" sign (wording might be wrong) and the GTA1 & 2 screens on the computers in [email protected] Edited September 24, 2005 by carpetdweller

Lots of people call the many parodys of real things easter eggs. e.g Saturday Night Beaver: Saturday Night Fever or Badfellas : Goodfellas (or the other way around. I know a lot of those things, there also references to GTAVC and GTA1 and 2. The See you in Miami sign and the movie advert Top Down city, referring to GTA1 and 2. I only set the limit because of the situation... after te game is released more people can help us but now we don't need more then 50 yet... Edit: "Also, I think you should give a description and examples of what you count as Easter Eggs. It seems that some people's definition can be quite different to anothers." Yes i should have done that, sorry... ahum... i think we make a list of things that were unusual in the game, that could be the sign offcourse but it could be the terrace on the casino in lvl2 too... first we make a list of those things and then we'll see whats right or wrong. Vayne
So, what do you call Easter Eggs, because I might go find some today. Allright, Go run around in libertycity and look for things we need to confirm we LCS comes out. Then make a list of them. Example: The terrace at the top of the casino in Staunton island.. PigManDan
1. First off, how do I join this group? Or do I just say, hey, I wanna join the "Eastern" Eggs Solving Group, and you'll sign me up? 2. Secondly, on the topic of GTA3 eggs: a) There are posters in GTA3 that say "Gasoline (something something)..." when you look at them up close, but when you're further away they say "Petrol (something something)..." (I'll find out exactly what they say and post a picture as soon as I can find/take one). Is this an e-egg or just a graphical error? b) Do the names on the edge of the map (found by using the flying tank cheat/dodo) count as an e-egg? Although, I guess that because we won't be able to fly in LCS, they won't be there. c) Maybe the sign ("You weren't supposed to be able to get here you know") will be there in LCS and say something else. d) And maybe the screens in the internet cafe might show something else (maybe from other GTA games). e) Also (I just remembered) the website URLS that were in Portland, on the scrolling electric sign for the car garage that had a banshee inside it (sorry, that's the best way I can describe the location, but I'm sure at least one other person knows what I'm talking about). I reckon they will have a similar thing in LCS. f) And aswell as all that we can probably expect Rockstar logos everywhere (which are now so common that they're probably not e-eggs any more). g) And the ability to change the size of the moon by shooting it with a sniper rifle (is that an e-egg, or just something you can do?) I can't wait til LCS comes out so I can look for all these things and see what they've added with regards to "eastern" eggs.

CarpetDweller
@ PigManDan - I'd not heard of the Gasoline/petrol sign before, but after you mentioned it I went and looked and you're right. Thanks. Where I saw it: Got to the road that leads from Asuka's condo to Belleville Park. Stop outside Ammu-Nation and turn to face the park. Notice the yellow bulding (mall) to the right. As you walk towards it you will see that the red sign on it changes from "PETROL" (I only saw PETRO) to "GASOLINE". There are lots of these gasoline signs around but this is the only one I have seen change so far. I don't know if this an Easter Egg but I think it is closer to an egg than Kenji / Donald's rooftops as this seems to be an intentionally hidden thing which has to be discovered. The cutscene locations are necessary within the game and fit in their surroundings perfectly. So I say they are just "interesting things to see". EDIT: Actually it's easier to see if you move one road North so you are by the multistorey carpark facing the mall, The red sign is right in front of you now. Edit: I found another eastern egg If you don't see picture here's the Link To find the sign you have to climb over the wall in the behind-the-buildings area where the mission with the mad bombmens takes place(it was the last telephone mission in staunton island i think) Edited September 25, 2005 by gohan__14
DeAnO_GTA~MaStEr
Dodo or a Rhino tank yes. But when you get in there and actually land, you get warped into blue hell. So I'd consider it more of a glitch than an easter egg.
