small mod problem

i have no problems installing mods, and i saw the jarra mono pack and thought 'why not'. i installed it, and switched the included weapons.dat (i think it was .dat, whatever goes in DIRECTORY/data) and since, my SA game has been VERY laggy. im guessing its the detailed textures, but ive had far more detailed items before and i havent had any problems. whenever i go into a safehouse or out of one, theres a literal 2 minute delay before anything comes up. specs are as follows:

 

intel p4 2.6ghz

512 ram

radeon 9200SE

 

oh, and is there a trainer that isnt affected by rockstar's official patch? somehow, it mixes up the keys and whenever i aim with any key, the game crashes. thanks loads guys.

I don't know why your game would lag with the weapon pack as its something that hardly gets used unless you've got a weapon out and other peds have them out as well.

 

About trainers, as far as I know no trainers have been made to work with the Patched version of the game so that would explain that problem.
