Drive by's

I have a feeling there's an easy answer to this, but I'm still as clueless. When I'm driving a drive by weapon is automatically selected. But how do I use it? The left mouse button does nothing for me.

 

Also, is there any quick way to upgrade swimming skills? I've been hanging out in the water, swimming and diving, but it never gets upgraded. It kinda sucks, cuz I need it for a mission.

To do a driveby you need to look left or right in a car (R1 or L1 buttons or equivalent), or look on a bike you can look left or right, but you can also shoot in front of you.

 

In other words, hold down R1 or the equivalent button to look one way and press shoot at the same time. You'll soon get the hang of it.

 

 

To increase your swimming stat, you can collect oysters. There are various maps around that will help you.

You got to press the correct button and hold it to look in the direction to shoot. On a bike you can shoot forward, which is more handy when trying to blow up cars, etc.

For the Xbox version I use the black and the white button to look left or right and press B to shoot. - Mike
