skierpage
I'm stuck at 99% complete, 35 out of 36 jumps in the PC version. Either I missed one or according to http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/gr...e_city_jump.txt there may be a unique jump glitch. Maybe a save file editor can show me what jump I'm missing. I see http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=148910 has a fabulous list that includes GTA VC Saved Games Editor (VC) (ENG) ........................................ PatrickW The link is to http://patrickw.gtacrime.nl/ but that domain is defunct. http://www.gtacrime.nl/ still works, but I can't speak Dutch. Does anyone have a working link for a saved game editor? Or other suggestions to figure out which jump is unjumped. Thanks indeed! -- =S
Justin
As far as I know, that particular saved game editor can only alter the parked cars. It's nowhere near the stages of specifying which missions have been completed successfully and the such. At any rate, the correct homepage of PatrickW can be found at http://patrickw.gtagames.nl/. The 'tools' page lists his saved game editor, however, the description confirms my thoughts that the editor is not able to be used for what you want to do. My advice is to simply re-do all the unique jumps, to make sure that you've completed each one. Or, check out Demarest's Vice City Code Tools - 1 and 2, and the collection at http://www.tfads.com/vccode/tools/. Should help.
skierpage
Thanks for the pointers. Maybe someone can update the broken link for PatrickW in that GTAForums Business Pages list. Demarest's Uniquecall tracker looks absolutely amazing from the screenshot in the "Demarest's VC Code Tools" thread. I promise $10 Paypal to her when/if it works! -- =S
Justin
I promise $10 Paypal to her when/if it works! Two errors. 1. Why the assumption of feminimity? Demarest is a male - or at least Demarest's internet personality is male. 2. When it works. No if about it.
Demarest
Thanks guys My schedule keeps getting shifted around and unfortunately all the time I had that I wanted to use last night to finish it was scooped up from underneath me I have sunday and monday off and this is something I really want to release, so you can expect it then if my schedule doesn't get flipped around again, which is very possible. Spuds725
Thanks for the pointers. Maybe someone can update the broken link for PatrickW in that GTAForums Business Pages list. PM one of the ledbys for that section with the correct link and they should be able to fix it-- that one is out of my reach.. skierpage
Why the assumption of feminimity? Because there's an icon of a girl under "Demarest" and a picture of a girl in his sig with "Demarest" on it?! "feminimity" ? I got amity for feminiNity. But Demarest, I'll still give you the $10 via PayPal :-)
Demarest
GC and I go way back. I've contacted him to let him know. The girl is Eliza Dushku and I think she's the sexiest lady on the planet As for the dough, I've considered a donate PayPal button for my site for a long time. Just didn't think anybody would back the cause. Maybe I should consider it again, eh? Gracious thanks
