Make wheels wider?

I've been working on my S600 doing some changes to make it better and I tried my hardest but cannot use the -1 in the vehicles.ide and size the wheels in 3DS, I don't know why it won't work because it works fine on the Range Rover. How do I make the wheels wider in the data line?

In 3DS, when you resize the wheel, after it's resized you need to click the Hammer icon in the right hand toolbar. There will be a row of new options, select the wheel mesh. Click Reset XForm, and then Reset Selected. Then click Collapse, and then Collapse Selected. This will tell the mesh to use the new size and reset the settings to the new measurements. Everytime you rotate or resize in 3ds you need to reset the xform and collapse it for it to stay to those settings. This will allow you to use -1 in the vehicles.ide. Hope this helps you out.

Ask about colors or wheel sizes and you will be fed to lions. Immediately.

This has nothing to do with the wheel settings in vehicles.ide, so it shouldn't apply to that rule. He's asking for help modeling his car, so please back off with the automatic flaming.

Suction Testicle Man

Please post the handling line you are using for said car. The flags are most likely set to have narrow wheels enabled, which would make resizing them very hard. Once you post it, I'll update it for you.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.

I went into the Ultimate Editor and selected wide for all the wheels and it didn't do anything. I'll try what torn_skin said, I totally forgot about that because I hardly ever need to do that for some reason. I'll get back with ya'll.
