First attempt at the style, not technically a vector since I cheated on the wheels, and barely used the pen tool, and did it in pohotshop, but meh, sue me.

The lisence plate looks a little strange though, I have to admit. Doesn't it have a brace or something?

Look in the original picture, it sort of just hangs by a screw or something. The white in the top corner is only a blur.

Despite the original picture having a messed up license plate, I wouldn't have added it. Also, was the background an afterthought? Because my eye shot to the blue window gradients. I think the car would look better if that blue colour in the windows was green, or tinted to look like grass through a window. If that makes any sense...

 

Anyways, I do really like it. The rims, calipers, and headlights all look fantastic. The highlights on the car also look well placed, although I think they could be slightly brighter.

I wasn't going to add the plate at first but thought what the hell, gives me some advertising space. Indeed, the background was added afterwards, I had cut the car out and was going to use it with something else, then decided to do the bg to get over boredom. I tried going in with the eraser on low flow and opacity but it didn't look quite right, maybe later I'll give it another go.

Highlights could be a bit stronger, but looks great, nice work.

Used selective coloring to filter down the cyan into green for the window, than added a 'photo filter' at low density to give the shades more contrast.

The highlights look a lot better now. Same with the window, but I still think it'd look a little better if it was more "clear" looking.

 

A lot better though.

So there should be summin attached to the plate in the pic, instead of it just floating. In fact the white thing seems to look like it, just in a wierd colour. - GTAuron
