Better Handling Landstalker?

I remember driving the Landstalker in GTAIII and I always had a love hate relationship with it. I'd love just cruising around in it and trying to go offroad with it because it required some skill to drive. But I always hated that side mission in the park where you had to drive the landstalker through the floating circles. I can't remember how many times I had to restart that one because the darn thing rolled over so easily.

I sincerely hope they made it less prone to rollovers, but given that this game takes place three years prior, the odds are it's even worse. We all know how those mid 90's SUV's did on the slalom course wink.gif!

What do you think? Like the landstalker? Like the handling? Want it improved, worsened, kept the same?

Thats very true. But i hope they keep as much as things the same as GTA3 as possible. I loved that game so much, and for them to taint it too much would lead to my death.

I think it should stay the same, its what makes the Landstalker such a unique vehicle as it would always want to roll when even the smallest bump was presented to it. To me it was Rockstar's way of poking fun at the American SUV being nothing but a big oversized monster that is usless offroad.

I think that they might also of been poking fun at the Ford Escape fiasco, where they kept rolling over easily. Ah, good times, good times.

who cares? I personally much prefered the Rancher in VC and San An and the patriot. Just leave the Landstalker alone , or better still, every time you seee one, take out a big gun a blow it to smitherines. As with the esperanto, rumpo, pony (which really is PONY!) and that awful diablio stallion.

By the way, was the Ford Escape the same car as the Nissan Terrano II, which was released in the UK as the Ford Maverick? That car was so terrible I think only fecalfeliacs bought them..

Hey I liked The diablo Stalion at least until I found faster cars on the other islands.

I don't think that the Escape is the same as your Nissan, unless Ford and Nissan had an aggreement to sell in the UK. This is the US Escape and it hasn't changed much since its release.

edit I had to d some research thats my personality, yes the maverick that they sell today is the Ford Escape here in the US, I don't beleive they started selling the Escape until around 2001. I did notice the Terrano II is the same as the older maverick, but those of you in the UK probably already realize that. Sorry if this is off-topic, but I'm one of those "nosey" people and have to research things, it works great in my job as a 911 dipatcher, because I can usually find information for the officers they can't normally find.
