Please take some time out to learn the basics of your model program before requesting screenshot directions for the most basic commands notify.gif This stuff you should know before even attempting to apply 3d tools to a model, honestly.

Actually Augh this is a Z-Modeller glitch and not covered in tuts.

Some times this occurs and it seems to be purely down to what order you place objects into the dff node, its happened to me a few times.

Use the unlink option on the dff and then attach your cylinder to the cars bonnet using the attach comand, remembering to click on the cylinder first and then its target so it reatains the targets name and axis. Then place all the parts back into the dff node, save and export to dff.

Hopefully that should do the trick.

Actually, to me it sounds as if the guy placed the cylinder using the top view, onto the bonnet. This obviously only provides X and Z axis coordinates for the object, so it assumes the default axis position on the Y axis. You simply have to move it down to the position you want it.

The same goes for placing an object in the side view, the Z axis position is not supplied by the tool, so it also assumes default axis position.

The glitch you describe I have not once encountered, though your explanation is a little confusing.

You need to edit the col information in the file. Easiest way to do so is the add to the "Collision" object I would guess, trace out the letters using faces made for that object...I'm not sure though, thats just a guess, I've never edited SA collision data before myself. - GTAuron
